Hobo that has always found the dinner table

 Checkout the bulging shirt this guy doesnt go without . He does need a new pair of shoes. The shirt is the natural color of the wood so are the shoes .

The sleep walker

 The sleep walker is a harold enlow pattern if you havent noticed I've carved a few harold enlow carvings he was one of my first inspirations in this great hobby . He seemed to be the only books out for along time

little old hillbilly

 this guy was just a simple little carving .I think he was a shipley pattern not sure

old cowpoke with furry chaps

 This old cowpoke was finished about 3weeks ago the chaps were woodburned to create the fur The pattern was a harold enlow changed to create something different What do you think

Fort Myers wood expo

 These are some of the pics from Fort Myers alot of good carvings ,good vendors and wood suppliers .I picked up a lyons detail knife and some different woods to try . I met Chris Whillock editor of carving magazine very friendly guy and one of my friends from WCI forum Gulfcoast Handyman .It was a great day a bit of a distance 3 hour drive from our place on the east coast.
