The Shoveller

The Shovellor was a pattern from Marv Kaisersatt .The wood is basswood that I have had since 94 . I inherited it from my dad's collection of wood when he passed away.I'm thinking it is at least 30 years old because I know he cut it at the farm we lived on and they sold the farm in 84.Anyways getting back to the carving I laminated 2 /inch and a half boards together and then cut out the pattern .I then preceded to carve away creating the gaps in between the legs and arms and shovel .It is all one piece no additions . Thanks for looking
