New cowboy in town

 Cowboy  pattern from a old harold enlow book  liked how it ended up finished a new way with the waterbased varnish got this advice from a good friend of mine Dougie a fellow carver that makes some pretty good looking Santas  thanks doug  I really like how it has worked .

 This is a soldier I finished started it with a pattern but never like completing it  exactly like his like to give every carving my own touch

 Pics of the ringer given to a good friend named hugh mccabe  so this carving is going to end up in Mass usa .To me nothing is more enjoyable than giving a carving away to someone that appreciates it
